Prototype
The basic minesweepers of the type "fougasse" became the main series type of anti-mine ships in the prewar period. The basic minesweeper "Mina" went fighting through all the Great Patriotic War. It took part in the defense of Odessa, Sevastopol and Novorossiysk; put mine obstacles, delivered troops and ammunition, escorted transports, repelling the attacks of submarines, launches and aircraft of the enemy. In July 22, 1944 the minesweeper "Mine" was awarded with the Order of the Combat Red Banner for an active part in combat action of the Black Sea Fleet. The submarine chasers "MO-4" were not less popular. Invulnerable due to their shallow draft, small sizes and maneuverability (two engines, 1300 hp each, imposed the speed to 25 knots), these ships were intended for operations against enemy submarines in coastal regions. They were armed with two guns of 45 mm, two machineguns DShK with the caliber of 12,7 mm and with depth bombs and provided with the hydrophones. The "MO" guarded the transports in convoys, escorted submarines up to the point of diving and met them after the cruise. The launch CK 065 became the only ship 4th class in the history of the fleet that received the rank "guard". In this magazine both models are given for assembly. The level of detailed drafting is rather high; there are a lot of small details. In spite of the fact that the models are not big, we recommend assembling of them to experienced modelers.
